Cloud Save is a feature that backs up your game to our secure servers. Without it, your game is only saved locally on your device. This means if you get a new phone, lose your device, or have to reinstall the game, all your hard work could be lost forever.
This guide will show you how to enable it and what to do if you see a "Cloud Save Conflict" warning.
How to Enable Cloud Save
-
From your garden, tap the Settings icon (the gear ⚙️).
-
Go to the 'Account' section, right below 'Your Profile'.
-
Tap on 'Manage Account'.
-
Choose your preferred recovery method and log in:
-
Google Play (Android)
-
Apple ID / Game Center (iOS)
-
Facebook (Both)
-
-
Once linked, go back to the main Settings menu. You should see the Cloud Save toggle is ON and the message "Last saved less than a minute ago" right next to it. This confirms your game is now securely backed up!
⚠️ IMPORTANT: The "Cloud Save Conflict" Warning
This is the most critical pop-up in the game. Please read this section carefully!
Why does this warning appear? This pop-up appears when the save file on your device (Local Save) is different from the save file on our server (Cloud Save). This usually happens if you:
-
Play on two different devices (like a phone and a tablet).
-
Play offline for a while and then reconnect to the internet.
-
Reinstall the game.
The game doesn't know which save is your "correct" one, so it asks you to choose.
What to do:
-
STOP. DO NOT RUSH. Read the information for both options very carefully.
-
The game will show you the stats for each save (Garden, Device, Version, Gems).
-
Local Data: This is the game saved on the device you are currently holding.
-
Cloud Data: This is the game saved to our server from your last play session.
- Decide Later: This option lets you see which state your game is, but we suggest you reopen the game as soon as possible and make a decision to avoid overwriting your progress.
The Golden Rule: ALWAYS CHOOSE THE SAVE WITH THE MOST PROGRESS.
Compare the Gardens, Devices, and Gems. Look for the Helpful Hint: The game will almost always tell you which save is newer with a message like "You played 2 hours longer in your cloud game" This is your most important clue! If you choose the older, lower-level save, you will permanently lose all the progress you made, and this cannot be undone by our support team.
Tips for a Smooth Experience
-
Playing on Multiple Devices: To avoid issues, always manually save entering the Settings menu and fully close the game on one device before you open it on another.
-
Playing Offline: When you play offline, your progress is only saved locally. When you reconnect to the internet, you will likely see the Cloud Save Conflict warning.
We strongly recommend all players link their accounts. It only takes a moment and it's the best way to keep your garden safe!
Happy merging!
