Midas Merge does not require an active internet connect to play. If your internet is spotty, or just not available you can launch and play the game as normal. You will need to reconnect to get any updates or make any purchases, however!
If you play for a significant amount of time offline you may create a conflict with our cloud save system where your local save will be different from your last cloud save. If this happens we will give you a quick prompt to pick which save you would like to continue to play, with some stats about each. Just pick local if you'd like to continue your offline game, or cloud if you want to reset to the last thing we saved for you.
