What's up with the locked tiles in the Vault of Riches Tray?

Midas' Vault of Riches needs to be restored just like his Gardens. As you Upgrade the Vault of Riches more tiles will become available for purchase in the Tray. Paying Coins to Unlock these tiles will not only grant the item on the tile to take back to your Garden, but open up more merging and collecting space.
